Construction Cleaner

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Construction Cleaners to join our team. This is a varied and physically active role working across different sites across Auckland, offering both day and night shifts.

About the Role: You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across construction and industrial sites, ensuring safe and tidy working environments.

Key Duties: • Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and upholstered surfaces • Cleaning, dusting, and polishing furniture, fittings, and fixtures • Removing rubbish and recyclable materials and emptying bins and containers • Stripping, waxing, and polishing floors • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and laundry areas, restocking supplies, and reporting issues • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners and cleaning equipment • Removing dust and debris from ceilings, walls, pipes, and fixtures • Using cleaning chemicals and solvents to remove stains and build up • Cleaning machinery and industrial areas including removal of grease, oil, and residue • Cleaning building exteriors using appropriate methods and products

Requirements: • Own reliable transport with the ability to travel to various worksites across across Auckland • Able to work both day and night shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work • Comfortable working in all weather conditions • Physically fit and capable of manual labour • Reliable, honest, and hardworking • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Able to work well in a team environment • Must pass pre employment and random drug testing • Good English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking
