Class 5 Swinglift Truck Driver Location: Wiri & Papakura, Auckland Employment Type: Full-Time
A busy transport and logistics employer based in Wiri and Papakura is seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-focused Class 5 Swinglift Truck Driver to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of empty containers while ensuring full compliance with road regulations, company procedures, and Health & Safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times. - Comply with all road rules, including speed limits and seatbelt requirements. - Plan delivery routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. - Transport containers safely to designated locations. - Manoeuvre trucks safely within loading and unloading areas. - Load and unload goods where required and ensure cargo is secured correctly. - Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure trucks remain in good operating condition. - Complete driver logbooks and all required documentation accurately. - Follow emergency procedures and respond appropriately to hazardous situations. - Maintain a strong commitment to Health & Safety policies and procedures. - Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and company standards.

Job Requirements
- Must hold a current and valid Class 5 Truck Licence. - Must have previous Swinglift driving experience. - Must be able to pass a drug test. - Must be able to pass a police check. - Must have reliable transport to and from work. - Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements. - Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. - Strong communication and time management skills.
