Class 4 Truck Driver

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering general freight to residential customers and commercial sites, including Bunnings and Mitre 10 stores.

Key Responsibilities * Transport goods safely from collection points to customer sites * Comply with all truck driving rules and regulations, including size and weight limits, designated routes, parking requirements, and mandatory break periods * Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures, and local regulations * Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and carry out preventative maintenance checks * Plan delivery routes efficiently and meet delivery schedules accurately * Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions safely * Collect and verify delivery instructions * Accurately record work/rest periods, kilometres travelled, fuel receipts, and toll receipts * Enter container details into the company’s automated system throughout the loading and unloading process * Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly * Perform additional duties as required by management

Requirements * Valid New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence, overseas equivalent, or the ability to obtain one * Forklift and Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsements required * Minimum 1 year truck driving experience preferred * Experience driving both manual and automatic Road Ranger gearboxes * Must be able to pass a drug test * Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Location Truck pick-up point: Otahuhu Office based in Pokeno

Carry out any other duties as requested by the owner from time to time.
