An established orchard in Puketapu is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in horticulture. Full training will be provided, and you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of orchard operations.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting with planting, tree training, and pruning to support healthy tree growth. Use of tools and machinery, including chainsaws, ladders, loppers, and hydraladers for pruning. Maintenance of irrigation systems. Crop protection through chemical spraying (via tractor and sprayer). Weed management using quad bikes and spray trailers. Supporting the fruit harvest – including picking, tractor operation, quality control, and other harvest-related roles. Accurate record-keeping of daily work and orchard activities.

Job Requirements
Physically fit and confident to work at heights using ladders. Own reliable transport. Positive attitude, motivated and reliable. Have a updated CV Able to pass drug test and MOJ check.
