Installation and dismantling of scaffold and edge protection equipment on both residential and commercial client sites, under the supervision of a Team Leader. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Primary Tasks include: o Load, unload and organise scaffold equipment from trucks and in yard. o Transport scaffolding equipment to job sites e.g. driving of company vehicles. o Assemble and dismantle scaffold and edge protection according to job specifications and safety regulations. o Check worksites for hazards before commencing work. o Inspect scaffold structures for stability and compliance. o Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, including fall protection and weight bearing requirements. o Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. o Cleaning and maintaining of company vehicles and equipment. o Monitoring health and safety for yourself and others and report any hazards or incidents promptly to your Team Lead or Manager. o Work as a team, following Team Lead instructions while on site. o Representing the Verge brand to customers and public. Skills and Knowledge: o Physical fitness and endurance, and comfortable working at heights. o Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations. o Good communication and teamwork skills. o Basic math skills. o Ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn, with a positive attitude. o Prior experience as a scaffolder or similar role in construction is ideal, but not essential. Working Conditions: Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Requires lifting, climbing, and working at heights. PPE must be worn at all times.

Job Requirements

Be reliable and motivated. Physical fitness and endurance, and comfortable working at heights. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic math skills. Ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn, with a positive attitude. Prior experience as a scaffolder or similar role in construction is ideal, but not essential. Have the ability to pass drug and alcohol testing if required.

Monday – Friday, between 7.30am-5pm (40 hours per week)
