Key Responsibilities
Position vehicles accurately to facilitate efficient and safe loading and unloading operations. Operate lifting and tipping equipment to load and unload goods securely and effectively. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures throughout loading, transportation, and unloading processes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Estimate and manage load weights to comply with legal limits and ensure safe weight distribution. Secure, store, and cover goods appropriately to prevent damage, loss, or contamination during transport. Verify delivery documentation, inspect goods for accuracy and condition, and obtain proof of delivery from customers.
Additional Requirement:
Flexibility to travel and stay away from home for extended periods (up to 2–3 weeks during peak seasons).
