Dairy Farm Assistant
About this job
- Assists milking process. Follows procedure to produce high quality milk. - Assists in the safe handling of animals, reports any health and welfare issues as per farm policy. - Controls weeds. Sets break fences and feeds out as directed .. - Assists with nutrient, effluent and water management as directed by farm policy. - Safely uses and maintains vehicles on the farm. Accommodation deduction would be $250 per week.
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a police check Must be drug free Should have a valid driving license - Should be able to provide previous work references - Should be able to lift heavy weights up to 20 kg
- Days of work
- Monday to Sunday, roster between 4 am to 7 pm. Working in weekend, available on calls are required for this position. (30 hours per week)
