Class 5 Truck Drivers Wanted – Join a Professional Transport Team
We’re on the lookout for experienced Class 5 Truck Drivers to join a busy and supportive team. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and enjoy variety in your work — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing • Operating heavy vehicles on both local and long-distance routes (Auckland - Wellington) • Working a 7-day roster with a mix of day and night shifts • Managing early starts and late finishes • Conducting pre-start checks and routine maintenance on your truck • Ensuring loads are secure, safe, and compliant • Maintaining accurate logbooks, invoices, and delivery records • Handling goods with care, including dangerous goods where required • Spending occasional nights away from home on long-haul trips
Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring
• Must hold a Full Class 5 licence • Strong knowledge of transport and industry regulations • Understanding of truck mechanics and basic maintenance • Ability to follow health & safety procedures, including emergency response • Good record-keeping and attention to detail • A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours • Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check and drug screening • Available to work a 24/7 roster, including early starts and late finishes • Willing to work weekends and undertake overnight trips when required • Hold a Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement and Forklift licence with F endorsement • Confident operating both Road Ranger (manual) and automatic transmissions
