Orchard worker
About this job
Winter kiwifruit orchard workers are required on a fixed term contract in the Tauranga area. Pruning and / or tying down of female kiwifruit vines in preparation for the 2026 harvest. Stringing work involves putting strings up on poles and training young vines up the strings for the next year’s crop. This work involves being on your feet and working above head and shoulders for long periods of time. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard – gumboots are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer. If interested please email CV to dave.bryan005@msd.govt.nz
Job Requirements
Minimum Restricted Drivers Licence and vehicle to get to Oropi as no public transport available. Criminal Record (case by case) No Smoking/Vaping in the Orchard (able to on breaks) Random Drug Testing
