Construction labourers
About this job
Construction Labourers assist with a range of general labouring duties across civil infrastructure and vertical construction projects throughout Auckland.
Daily tasks include assisting tradespeople and site supervisors, site clean-up, moving and unloading construction materials, digging and trenching, assisting with concrete preparation and placement, operating basic hand and power tools, and maintaining safe and tidy working areas.
Workers may support commercial construction, infrastructure, subdivisions, and general construction activities depending on project requirements.
Employees are required to follow all workplace health and safety procedures, wear PPE provided, attend site inductions, and work as part of a team under supervision.
The role involves repetitive manual labour and working outdoors in varying weather conditions across multiple Auckland worksites.
Job Requirements
Applicants must be physically fit and capable of repetitive manual labour, able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and willing to travel to different Auckland worksites. Previous construction or civil labouring experience is preferred but not essential. Ability to pass drug test and police check
