Avocado worker

We are seeking a General Labourer / Avocado Worker to join our team and support a range of orchard and horticultural tasks that contribute to the production of high-quality avocados and other crops.

This role plays an important part in ensuring daily operations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, with a strong focus on teamwork and adherence to health and safety practices.

The ideal candidate will be: • Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual tasks, including climbing ladders and carrying heavy loads • A reliable team player with a positive and cooperative attitude • Flexible with availability and willing to work extended hours, including weekends during peak seasons • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

-Previous proven experience within the horticulture industry is required -Willingness to undergo MOJ/Police vetting, with convictions considered on a case-by-case basis - Must pass a drug test. -Physically fit and in good health, with the ability to meet the demands of the role -Comfortable working in outdoor environments -Strong ability to work effectively within a team -Flexible with availability, including willingness to work varied hours as required -Must have at least a restricted license w/ reliable personal transport for commuting purposes.
