Driver/Traffic Controller - Waiheke Island

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Driver and Traffic Controller to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone residing on the Island, who is hands-on who enjoys working outdoors, assisting with event or site set-up operations, and supporting smooth traffic movement and logistics on Waiheke Island.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with site and event set-up activities • Drive company vehicles and transport equipment/materials as required • Manage traffic flow and ensure safe vehicle and pedestrian movement • Set up and pack down traffic management equipment and signage • Support crews with general labouring and operational tasks • Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times • Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and the public

Job Requirements
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • Full Class 1 New Zealand driver’s licence • Previous traffic control or site experience preferred (but not essential) • Traffic Control qualification (TC) advantageous, but training may be provided • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors • Must be able to lift up to 20kgs when needed. • Able to use an RT (can be trained in this) • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Strong awareness of safety procedures and attention to detail • Flexible attitude and willingness to assist where needed • Strong communication and ability to work as a team

- Rostered shifts with flexibility to work more hours if needed. Usually Monday to Friday but sometimes weekend work required. (20 hours per week)
