Full-time Yardman prepared to be working in a fast-paced environment, quick thinkers using a common-sense approach, physically fit, hardworking and reliable. The role offers a variety of tasks and practical work for someone who enjoys working outdoors with knowledge of timber, fencing and building. Key Responsibilities: - Support firewood processing and general yard operations - Assist in building variety of products on site - Help customers with timber enquiries, selection and loading - Assist on the sawmill, including sorting and stacking wood - Other general workshop and yard maintenance - Operate forklift as required This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands and taking on different challenges. A strong work ethic and a sense of humour will go a long way!
Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit, heavy lifting required and capable to perform the duties - Some building or carpentry knowledge and experience - Driver licence and own transport to work - Forklift licence (preferred) - Pass pre-employment drug test and MOJ - Must have up to date CV
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings if required. (40 hours per week)
