A leading Palmerston North fresh fish and seafood retailer, who pride themselves on delivering the best fish, seafood and service, has a vacancy for a Retail Sales/ Preparation Assistant.
Duties involve customer service, cash handling, preparing fish products, quality control, general cleaning and other duties as required.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to be passionate about providing a top customer service, have excellent communication skills, be self confident, optimistic with a positive attitude and have a high level of self-motivation and tenacity. Honesty and integrity, strong organisational skills, excellent self and time management skills, ability to work unsupervised, pay attention to detail and able to think out of the square are also vital for this position.
You will also be a team player, prepared to go the extra mile and have a professional tidy appearance.
Need to be physically fit, able to lift up to 20kgs and capable of passing a pre-employment drug test and security check if required. A knowledge and experience in preparing fish food products and fish filleting is an advantage
