Meat Process Workers
About this job
Duties include, but are not limited to: - Yard duties and handling of livestock - Process meat carcasses according to customer specifications - Separate organs and glands from carcasses using safe knife handling practice - Operate machinery to process pack and transfer carcasses or products - Pack boned meat and meat products into cartons - Move carcasses to chillers and freezers Load meat products into trucks - Clean and sanitise work equipment and work areas
Job Requirements
- Must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand - A pre-employment Medical (including a Drug and Alcohol test) needs to be completed prior to an offer of employment - Class 1 Drivers Licence - Restricted - A reliable vehicle to get to work - Criminal convictions will be considered on a case by case situation - no assaults or thefts

- Various shifts day and night shift with some weekend work (30 hours per week)
