We are currently recruiting for Qualified (Level 4) Tradespeople with a background in aviation, mechanical engineering, automotive, heavy diesel or similar engineering field for permanent full-time positions in our Engine Assembly team. This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. You will receive a full training and comprehensive onboarding.
Your Role: -After completing your induction training you will work at a designated workstation within Disassembly or Assembly. -Carry out engine work as per manufacturer’s manuals. -Interpret engine manuals as well as specific customer requirements for required work. -Work to set timelines and milestones to deliver engines to testing and back to the customer on time without compromising safety and quality. -Using our computer system to document and record your work. -Ensuring that your work meets all health and safety requirements. -This is a safety sensitive role, and all candidates will go through a medical assessment and drug & alcohol testing.
Your Profile: -Be Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4. Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualifications -Have solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, mechanical engineering or related. -Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions. -Good computer literacy -Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills. -Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player. -Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture. -Be flexible and adaptable. -Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting.

Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualifications. -Minimum 2 years’ hands on experience in aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering or related fields. -Must be able to pass a medical assessment and drug & alcohol testing. -Must be able to pass MOJ check. -Have an up to date CV. -Have solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, mechanical engineering or related. -Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions. -Good computer literacy -Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills. -Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player. -Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture. -Be flexible and adaptable. -Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting

- Mon – Friday 7am-3.30pm / Sunday - Thursday 3.45pm – 12.15am. Fortnightly rotating shift pattern (40 hours per week)
