About this job

We are currently seeking experienced Foundry Workers to join our team on a fixed-term basis. Ideally, candidates will have proven foundry or metal work experience and be available to work any shift.

What you'll do: -Mould and core formation, including floor and track moulding -Operate furnaces and perform metal pouring tasks -Perform fettling, knock-out, and water blasting to remove sand moulds and refine the castings -Repair minor defects and surface porosity issues to ensure optimal product quality -Work within a strict safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

What we're looking for: -Clean MOJ + Drug free, must pack checks -Previous experience within a metal casting and foundry environment -Proficiency with core making, floor moulding, metal pouring, fettling, and knock-out operations -Solid experience using measurement tools, bandsaws, and powered foundry machinery -Ability to handle exposure to high temperatures (700deg - 1600deg) and work with heavy equipment -Strong communication skills, particularly for health and safety protocols -Ability to work independently and meet production targets -An up to date CV
