Beauty Advisor /Counter Manager

A well-known and respected department store is seeking an experienced and passionate Beauty Advisor /Counter Manager to join their team with various locations available in Central and East Auckland.

In this role, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience across skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance. You’ll engage with customers to understand their beauty needs, provide expert advice, perform demonstrations and makeovers, and help them discover products that make them feel their best. You’ll also contribute to the store’s overall success by maintaining presentation standards, supporting promotions, and meeting individual and team sales goals. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and outstanding customer service. • Demonstrate skincare, makeup, and fragrance products with confidence and expertise. • Stay up to date with the latest beauty trends and product launches. • Maintain stock levels and ensure counters and displays are clean, organised, and visually appealing. • Support store events, promotions, and new product introductions. • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales and service targets.

Job Requirements: • Previous experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or retail industry. • A recognised beauty or makeup qualification is preferred (hair salon experience will also be considered). • Strong product knowledge and passion for skincare, makeup, and fragrance. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Confidence in performing product demonstrations and makeovers. • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and busy trading periods. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have clear Ministry of Justice record.
