We’re looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Te Awamutu, delivering Community & Rehabilitation, Disability and Social Services.

You’ll support clients to live independently at home and in the community, following care plans that may include personal care, meal preparation, medication support, community outings and home management.

Job Requirements

• Flexible availability and a caring, reliable attitude • Health and Wellbeing Level 2 preferred (training support available) • Strong communication skills and ability to use apps • Resilient, organised, and able to handle challenging situations • Previous caregiving experience is a plus, not essential • Full driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle • Living within 10–15 km of Te Awamutu • Right to work in NZ, able to pass police vetting • Up to date CV with two contactable referees

Days of work
Monday to Saturday OR Sunday to Friday Rostered: 7am to 3pm; 3pm to 11pm and 11pm to 7am (40 hours per week)
Pay Details
$23.97 up to $29.68 p/hr depending on experience or qualification
