A well-established out of school care service for primary aged children is looking for Programme Managers. Positions available for St Heliers, Orakei and Westmere sites.

As a Programme Manager, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings & afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 15 hours per week, rostered across Monday to Friday:

Morning/ Before school shifts runs between 7am - 8.30am. Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential. Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO: • Be the superstar running our sKids programmes day-to-day – from set-up to smooth operations – while building awesome relationships with our school communities • Supervise and join Tamariki in awesome activities like arts & crafts, sports, games, offsite adventures (swimming, walks, picnics, movies), baking, drama, and music • Lead safe, fun, and engaging sessions that keep kids buzzing while making sure everything runs smoothly • Be the friendly, go-to face for parents and schools, keeping communication warm and positive • Guide, support, and inspire your team to shine and bring their best every day • Arrive early to prep activities, co-ordinate Programme Assistants, and set up resources for a smooth start

Job Requirements

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children.

Key Requirements: • All successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check • Prior experience with children from a professional work experience (at least 1 year) such as childcare, education, coaching, camps, or similar with varying needs. • Management experience preferably in a childcare setting, but other sectors considered • Reliable transport to any of these locations (St Heliers, Orakei and Westmere) - this could be own transport, or have public transport option to be there on time. • A positive, energetic, and can-do attitude • Availability from 2.30pm is essential for after school programme • Applicants applying for Programme Manager must be 20 years or older, in accordance with the Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004
