Roaming Programme Assistant - Out of School Care

A well-established out of school care service for primary-aged children is seeking Programme Assistants to join their team. Three part time positions are available across the following locations, offering a minimum of 5 hours per week.
REMUERA: 1 position ($24.12 per hour) This role is based solely at the Remuera site. Travel between locations is not required.
WESTMERE: 1 roaming position This role requires flexibility to work across multiple nearby sites including Westmere, Newton Central, Mount Eden and Remuera.
ST IGNATIUS / ORAKEI: 1 roaming position This role requires work across both the St Ignatius and Orakei sites.
Working hours Monday to Friday: After School Care: 2:30pm - 6:00pm (availability from 2:30pm is essential)
HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE UP TO: • Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities. • Keeping spaces tidy, clean and welcoming for children. • Supporting the Programme Manager to run smooth and engaging sessions. • Identifying any behaviour, wellbeing or safety concerns and reporting these to the Programme Manager.

Job Requirements
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children.
• All successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check • Must have own vehicle for multi-site travel and at least Restricted Licence (for the roaming roles) • Availability from 2:30pm on weekdays (essential) • Experience in childcare, education, coaching, camps, babysitting, or similar • A positive, energetic, and can-do attitude.
