Job Description

We are seeking experienced Asphalt Operators/Labourers to join a high-performing civil construction team. This is a hands-on role involving asphalt paving operations as well as general labouring duties across multiple site locations.

The role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of projects. Travel to various sites will be required.

Key Duties Operate asphalt machinery including pavers, rollers, and excavators Undertake general labouring duties as required (all team members assist where needed) Support multiple crews and departments to assist with project completion Travel to various construction sites as required Work in accordance with strict safety procedures and site requirements Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Contribute to team productivity and timely project delivery

Job Requirements

Asphalt cartage experience a must utilising class 4 Licence A full Class 4 licence is required WTR endorsement is essential Proven experience operating asphalt pavers, rollers, and excavators in the construction industry Willingness to carry out labouring tasks when required Ability to work flexible shifts including day shifts, night shifts, and weekends Strong understanding of workplace safety and compliance requirements Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Own reliable transport Two strong employment references required Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong teamwork mindset with ability to work across multiple crews and departments.

Shift Information
