Pest Plant Controller
About this job
Pest plant control. Steep rugged terrain. Moving through tough vegetation including but not limited to Blackberry and Gorse. Applying herbicide to pest plants by hand and using a machete. Machete use experience is preferred. GPS use is mandatory. Training in herbicide application methods will be given. Qualifications can be gained. Work is WEATHER dependent, NO WORK in wet weather because of the herbicides used.
Job Requirements
Must have a driver's licence and reliable to transport to get to work Must be able to pass drug and MOJ Previous machete use. Skilled in breaking trail navigating to land marks. Highly motivated and trustworthy. Fit and strong, lots of walking up and town hillsides.

- Mon to Fri as weather 8am to 5pm in FINE weather (WEATHER dependent) (30 hours per week)
