Machine Operator

A local employer is looking for a Machine Operator to join their plastic injection moulding team. If you have experience in manufacturing/factory/hands-on work, are physically fit and have a positive "get stuck in" attitude you should apply!

It helps if you like working with machines, are happy to take directions from colleagues, can read plans with some basic math skills, and able to work in a close team environment. Job Description: • Operate machinery to manufacture plastic products according to specifications • Conduct regular quality checks to uphold product standards • Pack finished products in accordance with packing specifications • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality items • Collaborate effectively within a team environment and also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously when necessary If this sounds like you please apply with an up to date CV The role will be on a full time casual contract to begin with

Job requirements: • Experience working in a factory and operating machinery would be ideal • Must have reliable transport and Class 1 Restricted or Full Drivers Licence • Forklift licence is a bonus • Ability to read plans and specification sheets • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards • Ability to adapt to varying shifts and schedules as needed • Strong English and communication skills • Must pass Drug Test and MOJ Check (no criminal convictions) • Must be available for rostered shifts as described below
