About this job
A plumber-gasfitter installs, maintains, and repairs water, sewage, drainage, and gas systems in residential and commercial properties. Key duties include installing gas appliances, hot water systems, and piping, while testing for leaks to ensure safety. They work with various materials, read blueprints, and must follow safety regulations
Job Requirements
Gasfitting: Installing, servicing, and repairing gas appliances (stoves, heaters) and gas lines/pipes. Plumbing: Installing and maintaining pipes, water systems, toilets, and bathroom fixtures. Drainage: Laying or repairing sewage and drainage pipes. Maintenance: Fixing leaking taps, blocked pipes, and damaged systems. Planning: Studying building plans and layouts for new installations. Safety Compliance: Testing systems for leaks and adhering to health and safety regulations.
