About this job

• Ensure that all production processes are performed in a manner that contributes to the manufacture of high-grade timber products and complies with the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures. • Stacking timber neatly to predetermined packet builds. • Building each packet of timber to predetermined size based on piece count. • Feed in or tail out timber as directed to assist in the production of finished product. • Understanding grading and strapping and be able to support and/or complete these roles as required. • Ensure the work area you are assigned to is kept to Claymark standards at all times. • Meet all grade quality specifications as required by the company at all work centres, at all times. • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the Lead Table Hand, Shift Supervisor or Production Coordinator, from time to time, in order to ensure the continuous operation of the business

Job Requirements

- Has stuck it out for at least a year on a job that involves standing for long shifts (recently) - Experience on a night shift is a bonus - No unresolved injuries that would prevent physical work - Big and strong is a help, but smaller builds can work well too, as long you are fit - Positive team behaviours, courteous to others, team player, listens and asks questions. Shy or quiet isn’t a problem so long as they ask questions when don’t understand - Willingness to learn, able to tolerate repetition - Forklift license is an advantage - Only driving offences considered
