Delivery Driver (Truck Driver)
About this job
Safely operate a delivery truck to transport and deliver products to customers Adhering to assigned routes & Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and provide excellent customer service. Assist with loading and unloading of the delivery truck as needed. Communicate any issues or delays to the logistics team Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Accepting payments for delivered items. Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries. Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc
Job Requirements
Must hold Class 4 Lic. Must be confident to drive manual truck. Must have OSH and Dangerous Hazardous good cert (or able to get this). Physically fit-able to assist with loading and unloading trucks-usually product is on pallets. Must have exp Pallet Jack. Avail for varied start hours -could be 1am, 2am,3am or 4am starts. Able to drive to Picton Port or Blenheim when required to collect stock.
