A local Belfast gastropub is looking for a talented and driven Chef to join its high-performing kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy, well-established venue known for delivering high-quality food and a consistently great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present dishes to a high and consistent standard Run your section efficiently during busy service Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times Assist with prep, stock control, and waste minimisation Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service Support junior staff and contribute to menu ideas and improvements Monitor portion control and minimise food wastage Ensure stock is stored, labelled, and rotated correctly Help with receiving deliveries and checking quality of ingredients

1-3 years of experience as a Chef Willingness to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends Proven ability to handle pressure and work in fast pace environments High level of communication and collaboration skills Ability to stay calm, focused, and organised under pressure Ability to pass MOJ and pre employment drug test
