A great opportunity is available for a motivated and hands-on Service Person to join a busy branch in Mount Wellington. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools and machinery and is keen to develop those interests into a long-term career.
This is a varied, practical position where you’ll play an important role in ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for hire, while also supporting day-to-day branch operations.
About the role:
As a Service Person, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining hire equipment to ensure it is safe, clean, and ready for customer use.
About You: • Assist with servicing and basic maintenance of a wide range of hire plant and equipment • Support customers with equipment and general enquiries • Maintain a clean, organised yard and workspace at all times • Provide general support to the team, including answering phones and assisting where needed

Job Requirements
• Must have Full Class 1 Driver Licence and reliable transport • Must have Minimum 1 year of proven customer service experience • Basic to intermediate computer skills • Willingness to work on a rostered schedule • Flexibility to work weekends as required • Positive attitude with a strong team-focused approach • Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) background check • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Knowledge/ information regarding variety of tools and machinery will be provided
