Steel Water Tank Manufacturer – Sealer

Full-time position available with immediate start in Silverdale. Tanksalot is a manufacturer of premium, sustainable rainwater storage solutions and related products. We are a young diverse group of people in a small but an agile team. Quality, teamwork, sustainability and care for the environment are all core values (among others) of Tanksalot. We are looking for a positive and motivated person to help move this growing business forward.

Your responsibilities will include: 1. Operating tools for the use in steel tank manufacture. 2. Application of food grade silicone for sealing of tanks. 3. Product assembly. 4. Quality control checks. 5. General yard tasks and assisting with truck loading/unloading. 6. Primary work area: Tank sealing.

No formal qualifications required as on the job training will be provided to the right candidate.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and friendly team player with an eye for detail, able to interpret and work effectively from product drawings, able to learn quickly with a positive, can-do attitude

- Health and Safety conscious and has a keen interest in working in a general manufacturing environment.

- Previous experience working with corrugated steel or experience working in a general manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential

- Confident in the safe use of a large range of hand and power tools - No CV required however would be a bonus if you have one - Must have own reliable transport to get to and from work - Must be physically fit, agile and healthy enough to perform the duties as described - Must be able to heavy lift up to 40kgs at times - No drug testing required (though random testing can occur) - Convictions can be considered case by case
