Cafe Assistant Manager/Barista
About this job
A local busy Cafe based in the Cromwell area is on the hunt for a new staff member. You will be required to undertake food preparation, direct other staff members, cleaning, operate coffee machine. You must be a proficient an experienced Barista and can handle working under pressure. In addition, you would be handling cash and operating a POS machine, along with balancing till at the end of the day. You must understand food safety and run a daily food safety programme, including taking temperatures. Stock control would also be part of this job and at times you would take control of the cafe when the owner is absent.
Job Requirements
You must have a minimum of a restricted driver’s licence as you will be occasionally required to do deliveries and pick up of orders. Must be able to work weekends and public holidays Applicants must be able to provide an updated CV and have contactable referees
