Duty Manager and Retail Assistant (Otaki)

An Otaki based Employer is seeking Duty Manager and Retail Assistants to join their liquor store. Key Responsibilities: • Greet customers upon arrival and provide a welcoming shopping experience. • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with product selection and offering tailored recommendations (e.g., wines, beers, spirits, RTDs). • Advise customers on product details, promotions, and responsible consumption where appropriate. • Ensure compliance with Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act requirements, including checking valid ID for age-restricted purchases. • Contribute to daily sales and support the team in achieving store KPIs. • Maintain store presentation, ensuring shelves are stocked, displays are tidy, and the store remains clean and organised.

• Must be available to work on weekends. • Must have duty manager and LCQ licence or able to apply for this. • Must have good customer service skills, work well in a team and be well presented. • Need to be physically fit and be able to lift to 20kg. • Must be able to pass MOJ check. • Flexible to work rostered shifts, including late shifts until 10:00 PM. • Available to work on weekends. • Strong teamwork and communication skills. • Physically fit to stand for longer duration. • Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
