We are looking for a Harvest Technician to work on a Salmon Farm in the stunning TWIZEL AREA. It is a practical, physical role with a focus on the highest standards of fish welfare.
About the job: Involved in the day-to-day care of salmon. Feeding fish, monitoring their health and behaviour. Helping maintain the equipment and environment that supports their growth. Ensuring fish quality is maintained with fish stress minimised. Fish welfare standards are always maintained to company standards. Take a proactive approach to health and safety and always work within the guidelines of the Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.

Job Requirements
Motivated and a team player. Willingness to learn and give things a go. Full NZ driver’s license (class 2 or 4 and forklift are preferred but not essential).

- Operation on the farms are 7 days per week - standard 5 days on and 2 days off. (40 hours per week)
