What you’ll be doing:
-Completing daily metro deliveries across North Canterbury -Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently -Ensuring accurate documentation and delivery records -Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and road safety -Providing professional and friendly service to customers
Job Requirements
What we’re looking for:
-Full NZ Class 4 licence (essential). -OSH forklift certificate (essential). -DG endorsement, or must be able to get it immediately. -Proven truck driving experience, ideally in general freight. -Good knowledge of Christchurch and North Canterbury areas. -Tech savvy with willingness to learn new systems. -Strong work ethic and reliability. -Fluent in English with great communication skills. -Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. -A commitment to health and safety. -You’ll need to undergo pre-employment medical & drug testing and ACC & MOJ checks. - Must have minimum 2 contactable recent referees in the transport industry and an up to date CV.
