We are looking for a caring and reliable Health Care Assistant to support or Cambridge residents in their daily activities and wellbeing. Key Duties: * Help residents with daily personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming, eating, mobility, and toileting. * Assist with medications when instructed by the nurse. * Follow the duty schedule and nursing procedures, and ask for help if a situation is difficult. * Support residents according to their individual needs and preferences. * Follow workplace policies such as punctuality, time recording, professional behaviour, and house rules. * Help with laundry, cleaning, and basic kitchen tasks while following infection control practices. * Respect the privacy and confidentiality of residents and the facility. * Work well as part of a team and keep records and reports up to date. We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, and able to work well in a team while providing good support to residents.
Job Requirements
-A relevant NZQF Level 2, Level 3 or Level 4 qualification, or at least 1 year of relevant experience (experience may substitute for the formal qualification) -Be able to pass police check. - Must have reliable transport.
