Support Worker - Levin

We are seeking an empathetic and motivated Full time Support Worker to join our specialist team in Levin.

You will provide both practical and emotional support to help clients achieve their goals and maintain independence.

Your responsibilities may include: - Meal preparation - Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming) - Administering medication - Supporting community outings and social integration - Home management and daily living support

We are looking for

- Have an updated CV with at least 2 contactable referees - Must live within 10-15km of Levin - Previous caregiving or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential) - Computer literacy and ability to use Apps - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends - High level of resilience, with an ability to cope with change and to be flexible - Health and wellbeing level 2 certificate preferred but not must need . The employer will assist you obtaining a level 2 if you don't already hold one. - Be able to pass the police vetting checks - Must hold a full driver’s licence and have access to own vehicle, as driving may be required during work to assist with some tasks, as well as for commuting to and from the workplace.
