Fitness Personal trainer/ sports coach

We are a local community gym based in the South Waikato seeking two motivated Fitness Personal Trainers or Sports Coaches. The role focuses on delivering safe structured and engaging fitness programmes for youth. This includes fitness training boxing coaching and group fitness classes such as spin classes. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver youth fitness and boxing training sessions • Coach and supervise group fitness and spin classes • Create positive engaging and supportive training environments • Maintain safety standards at all times • Build strong positive relationships with youth and families • Support general gym activities as required Requirements: • Experience in fitness training sports coaching or boxing • Ability to engage and motivate youth participants • Strong communication skills • Must pass a Police Check due to working with youth • Reliable professional and team focused attitude • Minimum availability of 30 hours per week This role offers the opportunity to positively impact youth wellbeing within a supportive community environment.

• Experience or qualification in fitness training sports coaching or boxing • Ability to confidently train and engage youth • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Must be able to pass a Police Vetting or Police Check due to working with youth • Reliable professional and team focused attitude • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain • Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week • Drug free Desirable: • Personal Training certification NZQA or equivalent preferred • Boxing coaching experience • Spin class certification or experience • Knowledge of youth development or community sport programmes
