Job details As a Grounds person you will play a key role in supporting our Arborists with day to day tree maintenance and removal operations. This is a hands on physically active role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors learning practical skills and being part of a tight safety focused team.

You will assist with preparing work sites managing debris operating equipment and maintaining a safe environment for the crew and the public. This position offers excellent opportunities for training and career progression in the arboriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities Assist Arborists during tree pruning felling and removal operations Feed branches and logs safely into the wood chipper mulcher Maintain clean and organised work sites including raking sweeping and debris removal Use and maintain hand tools and basic equipment Support safe chainsaw operations depending on training and competency Manage ropes rigging gear and equipment on the ground Follow all health and safety procedures including hazard identification and reporting Assist with loading unloading vehicles and equipment Communicate clearly with the climbing Arborist and team members Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients or the public

Job Requirements

Strong commitment to health and safety Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in all weather conditions rain or shine Willingness to learn and follow instructions Good communication skills and a positive team attitude Own reliable car to get to work Ability to work outdoors for extended periods Basic understanding of safe tool use (training provided) Full or restricted driver licence a MUST
