Support Worker - Auckland North Shore

We are seeking an empathetic and motivated Full time Support Worker to join our specialist team covering these areas; Green Bay, Whangaparaoa, and Waterview.

You will provide both practical and emotional support to help clients achieve their goals and maintain independence.

Your responsibilities may include: - Meal preparation - Personal care (showering, toileting, grooming) - Administering medication - Supporting community outings and social integration - Home management and daily living support

Mon to Sun – RDO Fridays rostered time from 9-11 am, 12-2pm, 4-5pm + 7-9pm is mandatory to cover. Hrs with second client - Tues and Wed from 8am to 5.15pm

We are looking for

- Have an updated CV with at least 2 contactable referees - Comfortable with the 'Personal care' aspect of the role - Live within 10-15km of the Green Bay, Whangaparaoa, and Waterview. - Previous caregiving or healthcare experience (desirable but not essential) - Computer literacy and ability to use Apps - Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends - High level of resilience, with an ability to cope with change and to be flexible - Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to meeting the cultural needs of Maori - Health and wellbeing level 2 or above certificate. If you don't have one we can assist the successful applicant to obtain one through the online course. - Be able to pass an MOJ check - Hold a Full NZ driver licence and reliable transport (essential)
