Class 4 Driver – Livestock Operations

We are looking for a reliable Class 4 Driver to join a busy farm operation in Wharepapa South. This position focuses on Class 4 driving duties, supporting the movement of livestock and farm materials, while also assisting with general farm tasks as part of a small team. You will play an important role in maintaining livestock welfare and ensuring smooth day to day operations.

Carrying out Class 4 driving duties as required Transporting livestock and farm materials safely Monitoring livestock health and shed environments Assisting with temperature lighting and watering systems for indoor birds Supporting egg collection grading sorting and packing when needed Completing daily flock records and check sheets Reporting livestock health concerns promptly Maintaining cleanliness of sheds and work areas Reporting maintenance issues to the Farm Manager Following all biosecurity and health and safety procedures

Full Class 4 driver licence Previous experience working with livestock or on a farm Physically fit and comfortable with hands on work Reliable punctual and able to work independently or in a team Able to follow biosecurity protocols including (no pigs or poultry kept at home)
