STMS and TMO Traffic controllers needed
About this job
You will be responsible for helping deliver safe and efficient traffic management on worksites across the region. Responsibilities include:
-Setting up, managing, and removing temporary traffic management sites
-Ensuring all work complies with CoPTTM and company safety standards
-Communicating clearly with crews, the public, and road users
-Maintaining a safe environment for workers and motorists
-Operating stop/go paddles, portable signs, and other TTM equipment
-For STMS: leading sites, completing documentation, and overseeing TMO/TTW staff
Start and finish times vary shifts may begin in the early hours of the morning or later in the day, and end times depend on the workload and site requirements. Travel may be required depending on job locations.
Job Requirements
-Current TMO or STMS qualifications and certs (any level) -Full or restricted NZ driver licence (Class 2 an advantage) -Ability to pass pre employment drug and alcohol test -Ability to pass criminal background check (case by case) -Good communication and teamwork skills -Physically fit and able to work outdoors -Reliable, punctual, and safety minded -Ability to work days, nights, or weekends when required
