Structures Foreman

We're on the lookout for a Structures Foreman with large scale bridge building experience to lead teams on major projects shaping Wellington's future. What you'll be doing: • Coordinate activities of structures crew and subcontractors on site • Ensuring quality of work completed is up to standard and delivered on time • Take charge of Health and Safety compliance on site • Liaise with suppliers, sub-contractors and other staff on site • Maintain records of completed work, incidents and site progress • Solve problems and resolve issues on site promptly • Contribute and encourage a positive culture at work • Report progress, issues and needs to Supervisor

What we are looking for: • Proven experience in a foreman/supervisory role within the civil sector (open to discussion with Leading Hands wishing to take the next step) • Proven experience working with structures specifically large-scale bridge builds • Holds a valid Class 1 license • Ability to build and develop your team and encourage a positive environment • Ability to read plans and specifications • Strong leadership and time management abilities • Experience working with complex major projects (advantageous) • Sound understanding of environmental factors and impacts (preferred)
