Traffic Controller

A privately owned company who specializes in Traffic Control in the Thames region, are looking for enthusiastic and reliable staff to join their team. If you value good company culture and being valued as a key member of a great team, this job could be for you. You will be driving to worksites, working in teams, setting up signs and cones, and working with stop/go paddles. Previous experience working on the road is preferable, but not essential. If you are reliable and have a great work attitude, our company offers an opportunity for you to be trained as a level one traffic controller and beyond. Work hours can vary, typically a minimum of 30 hours, Mon-Fri 6AM-6PM, however, candidates must be flexible with shift times and available for overtime on nights and weekends. The first few months will be on a fixed term contract but could lead to full time permanent work for those that are reliable and committed to the job.

A full class 1 driver’s license is preferable (consider restricted class 1 licence). Must be a team player. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Must be flexible with shift times and available for overtime on nights and weekends. Must have own transport or able to get to Employers base in Thames. Must be presentable as is public facing role. Employer promotes a zero-harm culture and undertakes pre employment drug and alcohol testing.
