Duty Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to oversee daily venue operations and lead our front-of-house team. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining high venue standards, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and run shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Brief, supervise, and support front-of-house staff throughout service Manage service flow during busy periods to ensure efficiency and quality Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally Coordinate and oversee functions, events, and bookings Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards Monitor staff performance and assist with training where required Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and liquor licensing requirements Open and close the venue, including cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation
Job Requirements
Duty Manager Certificate preferred. 1+ years bar/restaurant supervisor or DM experience Confident with POS, cash handling, EOD reports, and stock handling Good knowledge of cocktails, wine, and bar operations Calm under pressure, solution-focused, leads by example
