Aluminum Sheetmetal Fabricator / Welder

A local Levin based business is looking for a keen and reliable Sheet Metal Fabricator / welder to join their team fabricating balustrades and balconies using powder coated aluminium extrusion. This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a modern workshop with a supportive crew. Duties include: • Fabricating aluminium components to a high standard • Operating and experience with welding. Operating workshop equipment including welders, brake press and guillotine • Aluminium TIG and MIG welding • Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications • Maintaining a safe, tidy work environment and following all health and safety requirements
Work safely and diligently* with other team members fabricating Balustrades and Balconies using Powder Coated Aluminium extrusion, basic hand and power tools, and larger powered tool such as Drop saws, Guillotine, Brake and Drill presses.
*Balustrades and Balconies must meet approved engineering and safety standards, all products fabricated must comply with these standards. Attention to detail and a thorough, conscientious approach to fabrication work is required.
Job Requirements
About you: • Honest, reliable and a strong team player • Experience in sheet metal fabrication/ engineering • Good communication, written and reading • Physically fit • Great attitude • Great attention to detail and pride in high-quality work • Good communication skills and the ability to problem-solve • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to pass Drug check and Ministry of Justice check
