Support Worker - Auckland East

We’re on the lookout for empathetic, passionate, and motivated Support Worker to join our Community team to cover Bucklands Beach and Eastern Beach. As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives through practical and emotional support. Tasks may include: • Meal preparation • Community outings and integration • Medication support • Personal care (showering, toileting, etc.) • Home management tasks What You’ll Get:

• Have an updated CV with at least 2 contactable referees • Comfortable with the 'Personal care' aspect of the role • Ability to pass a Ministry of justice check • Computer literacy and ability to use Apps • Ability to work competently with challenging behaviours • Well organised, with the ability to problem solve effectively and respond effectively under pressure • Ability to maintain confidentiality • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team • Hold a current NZ full driver licence and have access to their own vehicle, as driving may be required during work to assist with some tasks, as well as commuting to and from the workplace • The ability to undertake the physical requirements of the position • Level 2 in Health and Wellbeing preferred but not essential to apply • Applicants must live within at least 10-15km of Bucklands and Eastern Beach.
