A Wellington Business is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

The Project Manager – Leak Inspections & Small Projects will oversee the timely completion of smaller-scale repair projects, focusing on leaks and maintenance work. This role also involves day to day management of rope technicians, guiding their daily tasks and activities to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management (80%):

• Oversee small-scale projects related to leaks, repairs, and maintenance tasks, including quotes. • Plan and schedule project activities to ensure timely completion. • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth execution. • Monitor progress to ensure projects stay on track with budgets and timelines. • Identify and mitigate concerns and resolve any issues promptly. • Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are met on-site. • Document and file according to company systems and standards.

Staff Management (20%):

• Supervise a team of rope technicians on maintenance and leak-related tasks. • Conduct regular quality reviews to assess individual development and performance. • Provide support and training to rope technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools. • Escalating any staffing issues or concerns and maintaining a motivated and effective team.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience • Experience managing small-scale projects, particularly in maintenance or repair. • Knowledge of rope access techniques and experience leading rope technicians. • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. • Proven experience in managing teams and conducting performance reviews. • Ability to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements: • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test • Clean MOJ • Full Licence (manual preferred but not essential)
