A company servicing networking and security systems in the Auckland Airport precinct is looking for an experienced Security Technician to join the team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and servicing critical security infrastructure across a high-profile site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and service CCTV systems • Maintain and troubleshoot access control systems • Work on car park barriers and automation systems • Perform network cabling and related technical work • Ensure all systems are operating reliably and efficiently • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance

Job Requirements
• Proven experience with CCTV, access control, barriers, and cabling • Must be able to obtain Airside permit and Security guard license (clean police check required) • Must have EST (Electronic Security Technician licence) Licence. • Full, clean driver’s licence • Candidate having valid Sitesafe, EWP (Elevated Work Platform) and Working at Heights certifications would be preferred • Strong problem-solving and technical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must pass all pre-employment checks • After six months, the successful candidate will be required to participate in an on-call roster for one week at a time, including after-hours work.
- Days of work
- Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm. There is sometime after hours and weekend work depending on projects (42.5 hours per week)
