Assistant Manager

As a Fruit & Vegetable Shop Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality produce displays. Your responsibilities will include: Key Duties: • Assisting customers and helping them select fresh produce • Filling, arranging, and maintaining attractive fruit and vegetable displays • Checking the freshness and quality of all produce • Weighing, pricing, and packing items accurately • Handling cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale (POS) system • Receiving and unloading stock deliveries • Rotating stock to ensure older items are sold first (FIFO method) • Keeping the shop clean, organised, and well-presented • Following all food safety and hygiene standards
