Taxi Driver

A local taxi firm is looking for a full time driver to join the team. Your Primary Responsibilities would be: Drive people from one place to another in a (supplied) taxi cab. Ask customers for directions or determine directions on GPS. Use your knowledge of local streets and traffic patterns to avoid heavy traffic. Pay tolls. Turn on and off meter and take payments. Make change and issue receipts. Determine fares based on distance, number of passengers, or times. Pick up and throw away debris from passengers and vacuum and clean interior of cab. Wax and wash exterior of car. Service car and determine if repairs are needed. Get oil changed and fluids checked regularly. Operate wheelchair lifts. Answer requests to receive vehicle assignments. Perform errands for customers. Make minor repairs and adjustments. Help passengers get in and out of car and carry packages and luggage. Weekly hours for work will be 30-40. Thursday, Friday and Saturday night shifts are required - early evening through to late evening / early morning hours. Other evening shifts are also required and some days shifts - as agreed with the employer. NO EXPERIENCE NO QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED

Candidate must hold a clean & full driving licence with a P (Passenger) endorsement. Good presentation and communication skills Comfortable using smart phone apps Drug test is required A clean MOJ is also required
